Bio

Guayaquil's birth, I live in Catalonia since 2001. In 2007 i start my training as a guitarist through L'AULA de

música moderna i jazz
(Linked to the Conservatori del Liceu and the Berklee College of Music),

and the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya).

My first contact with the guitar was around the age of 12, but only to play with it. At 17 I discovered the

blues of Albert King and the universe of Jimi Hendrix. At 19 jazz appeared in my path... and the swamp

crocodile became intellectual.

I have participated in several projects: Trio Dambelé (Jazz/Manouche), João Silva 5tet (Jazz/Afro), duets

(voice/trompet/sax and guitar), tributes to George Michael, Tom Jones, David Bowie, etc. and music

for media. Currently I started a new project of mine called "A Strings Affair", which combines a guitar jazz

trio and a string quartet that plays original songs and arrangements.

I have performed in clubs like Jamboree, Bel-luna Jazz Club, Hotel Miramar, Bar Pastís, Hotel Catalonia

Barcelona Plaza, MNAC, el Born C.C., etc.
